Meet Reese
Reese Anderson is a writer, storyteller, and content creator who spent the majority of her childhood in Suffolk County, Long Island, New York. She later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned her degree in Communication from Kennesaw State University and wrote for The Sentinel, the university’s newspaper, which covered a wide range of campus news and student life. As the Women’s Basketball Beat Writer, she contributed weekly coverage of the team throughout the season.
Following college, Anderson moved to New York City, where living in Bedford-Stuyvesant inspired the idea for her debut novel, When It Rains, It Pours, which she independently published in 2014.
Now based in Atlanta, she creates digital content centered around storytelling, travel, and everyday life while also serving as a youth basketball coach. Through her writing and online platforms, Anderson focuses on exploring real-life experiences, personal growth, and the stories that shape how people move through the world.
